Allison Vorndran, DO

Hi! My name is Allison. I am originally from South Dakota, but have lived in the Fort Wayne area since the 8th grade. I graduated from Leo High School and earned a bachelors in psychology followed by a masters in biology from IPFW (now PFW). I then went on to complete my Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine at A.T. Still University - Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, MO.

While moving away for medical school was a good experience, my husband, Lucas, and I were thrilled to come home for my clinical years! Besides the benefit of being near family and friends, I was able to get more familiar with FWMEP. After spending some time with the residents and faculty, it was clear that this program offered many of the qualities I desired with the added benefit of being located in a community that I love! I don’t know exactly what type of practice I will have in the future, but my interests include: full-spectrum care (including OB), acute care, and medical missions.

Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, visiting local coffee shops, and indulging in some ice cream! I am also an avid Peloton cyclist and a member of the Power Zone Pack. My husband and I love to travel, hike, and go on walks with our cockapoo, Nala, and son, Elijah (2020). We are thrilled to be continuing this journey in Fort Wayne, and we are looking forward to the next three years!
