Lucas Tang, MD

Hello, I’m Luke, a Hoosier through and through. I was born in South Bend, grew up in Portage, and completed all of my education here in Indiana. I attended IU Bloomington for undergrad where I studied Biology, and then went to IU for my medical degree.

I am excited to start my family medicine residency training here in Fort Wayne, especially since FWMEP is an unopposed program with ample opportunities to work closely with faculty and gain hands-on experience. I was drawn to FWMEP by the friendly and welcoming atmosphere of the faculty and residents, where the care and passion they have for the program and one another is palpable.

Outside of medicine I enjoy playing pickup basketball, chess, video games, and anime. I love listening to music and will occasionally dabble in playing it myself. I also recently started playing pickleball, which I would recommend to everyone.
