Kimberly Schelb, MD, Associate Program Director

Hello! I’m Kim Schelb and I joined the FWMEP faculty in 2020. I was born and raised in Marion, OH and went to Wittenberg University for undergrad in Springfield, OH. After college, I ventured way out for medical school where I attended Ross University where I was on the beautiful island of Dominica and finished all my clinical rotations in downtown Los Angeles. There I met my main man, Jeff, who you might see on occasion rounding as a hospitalist over at Parkview or giving a didactics lecture to our residents. For residency, we couple’s matched in Indiana and I completed my residency training at this very program! As faculty, I’m very fortunate to be able to continue my passion for teaching in addition to practicing full spectrum family medicine including outpatient, inpatient, pediatric, and obstetrical care.

On my free time, I would like to say Jeff and I do crazy exciting things but let’s be real- most weekends consist of Netflix and wine. If we’re not getting together with friends for game night then you’ll find me at home pestering Jeff, playing with our dogs, or reading lots of books- all time favorite has to be Harry Potter (full disclosure: I’m a Slytherin). I’m also always down for a long road trip, especially to all the national parks.
